Humble. As I gain in knowledge and wisdom making sure I share myself. The world needs positive Brothers setting the standard for what’s good and right. Keeping God first and manifesting the best aspects of my dreams. Living life to the fullest, and being mindful of the shoulders of those I stand upon: the ancestors are watching and guiding me. I am only human – I am a man, I am going to make mistakes .Ultimately, I have to decide what is good for me, and that is with any decision I make. Life is about choices; certain choices lead us down certain roads. Regardless, I enjoy the journey of life and make as many good choices as I can. Remembering, there is no such thing as failure; just a learned experiences from what choices have been made. “”To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment” Ralph Waldo Emerson www.mjhustla.wordpress.com www.mjhustla2009.wordpress.com michael_d_johnson@hotmail.com

Yashionline.com

You probably know her as Yashi Rice. I call her (my Yash). I have known this beautiful female since attending SIU in Edwardsville where she recently graduated. I am still straddling the fence - she made college look too easy for me.

Yashi is a beautiful female friend. I remember sitting with her sisters and her one afternoon laughing, joking and sharing ideas. Of course, being the only (Clearing Throat)... St. Louis Brotha...in da house - I had to represent for the fellaz. Now, have you every heard the words "Family and Friends". I can say Yashi an
d her sisters exemplify those words perfectly. No, I mean PER--fect--ly looking ass.

They laughed like sisters, talked like sister and shared ideas like sisters. While observing - I can say the professionalism they had for one another was totally above what I have ever seen honestly. I have a high level of respect for them after seeing the bond. Everyone can not seat in the front row of your theater ya dig. When one has the floor the other is quiet- unless the idea is just at the tip of the tongue and still the etiquette of professionalism floating in the air is a given. They are awesome. I might adopt one as my sister this time next year.

Walking aside Yashi, or around a block talking to her is like walking beside someone who has lived next door to you your entire childhood. I can not say you won't smile the entire time - but you will learn how to speak only positive to your life.

One afternoon she said 'MJ, I love working with kids. I like setting examples. I know they are looking up to me - so I do my best to walk and live the life I would want them to live if the shoe was on the other foot. Since these kids like me... I have no choice but to set a positive example. I think it is cool. I love kids". In a nutshell, this was a little bit of our conversation and it went on like this until we saw a park and hit the swings... I think those wood chuck things are too thick. I had one go through my chuck taylor's like a nail. And my socks from journey's are so cute.

When I am around Yashi, I normally do a lot of talking (as usual)... I have stories for years... sometimes Yashi and I compete for who's time is to tell their story... I talk a lot naturally - but say what I have to say to get my point across ...ya feel me? If my memory serves its purpose - a phone call between Yashi and myself is a like a seat belt battle with the law. Yeah, a battle. If we do not talk for a few days, a few weeks, a month are whatever the time span is... you better believe, we catch up in a few minutes. Then argue about whatever until one of us - says to the other " you crazy "... either I fall out on the ground laughing are she hits me soft..(I mean hard). Yash, if you read this... I was about to lie...

Yashi does not know I am writing this blog. She will probably stumble across it one day. The last time we spoke in person was last week. I use my txt messages on the cpu like a cell phone. Anyway, she told me to be safe and not to get caught up in anything dumb, stupid are crazy... MJ. I agreed as usual! I could go on and on about her - but when do I talk about me..? She says I talk about me a lot... well more then a lot. Often.

j/k- no I am not! .... she is really a outstanding person. Thoughtful. Understanding. Loving. A person you would want beside you in a time of trouble. She makes the biggest problems seem small. Well, my problems...lol! If I told Yash I was about to do ten years fed time she would probably say, what I do and then tell me she will write me... after she tells me she is upset that I have to go to prison. (Lord this is probably a bad example - but a good one)....

If every soul had a Yashi beside them.. you would smile often, argue your views until someone came to the point of what is logical, understanding and which outcome is more beneficial in the long haul. Another thing... Yashi is great with cooking noodles in the microwave... Although the noodles get fat--- they are still good... if your reading between the thin lines... ask me - I know. She will one day upgrade to cooking like her wonderful mother does. I have never tasted meat loaf that makes you smile and try to talk about how good it is...all at once. I think I went back for seconds the next day according to "MJ do you want some more of my moms meat loaf? You are welcome to have some - I know you hungry". Yeah- she put me out therrr like that.

Me: Did you tell your mom I said " I love the meat loaf"? Ya'll trippin mane, ya shoulda ate all that last night... Ima ask yo moms if she could get me my own special dish next year for my bday.

I will not go to far with my Yash story... I would be giving all of my Yash away. Make certain to support the one and only Yashi Rice. I have to get going because my lady will be ready to hit up McDonald's. Let me quit lien.. I am single ass hell. I guess the thought of having a Halle Berry, Tyra Banks and Danella is too far ahead of my watch. I will stick to the college scene until I get my Master's. Ladies I am going to be single for about three more years. I accept applications during the fall semesters only and I do accept Financial Aid refund checks after you cash them...lol!

All joking aside. Live the life you see before you. Understand that whatever plan you have for your life - the Creator has even a better one. Dream big - Dream the impossible - then go catch the dream. If you let it go - and it comes back. It is yours' my friend.

Yashi! I wish you the best! Yo! MJ.

I will not tell everyone that I won the race from the end of your block! Peace. I shoulda ran track.

Never again will I have this opportunity to speak these words. Today and any other day - I can vouch for this woman - but I will not need to... once your in her presence, you lose whatever circumstances you are battling at the moment. You lose sight of the problems in your life. I am not saying she can walk on water, but she can surely guide you to it if you need something to drink.

This is why she is my Yash! My Yashi Rice. www.yashionline.com
